COURSE CERTIFICATION:

On successful completion of this course learners will receive a Manual Handling certificate valid for 3 years. Instructors are QQI Certified.

Manual Handling Terms and Conditions

  1. Candidates are expected to co-operate fully with our tutors/staff and participate in course activities. If you fail to co-operate you will be asked to leave the premises, any course work up to that point will be deemed null/void and candidates are not entitled to a refund in respect of the monies paid for the course.
  2. Aggressive or violent behaviour from candidates towards our tutors, staff, other candidates, or members of the public will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The candidate(s) will be asked to leave the premises, any course work up to that point will be deemed null and void and candidate(s) are not entitled to a refund in respect of the monies paid for the course.
  3. Should a candidate fail to pass a course assessment they are not entitled to a refund in respect of the monies paid for the course.
  4. In the event that you fail to attend your course or a candidate which you represent fails to attend their course you are not entitled to a refund in respect of the monies paid for the course, save in the event that adequate notice of cancellation is provided as per the following paragraph:
    Your time to cancel a course starts from the date of payment for your course. In the event you cancel your course or a candidate which you represent cancels their course without giving five (5) working days (Monday to Saturday) notice you are not entitled to a refund in respect of the monies paid for the course and will be charged in full.
  5. Health & Safety Services reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course. In this event, a candidate can opt to attend the next available course or get a full refund.
  6. Course Language:
    If a candidate is unable to understand and participate fully in the course content because of language difficulties, the candidate will be sent home, will forfeit the course fee and be referred to an interpreted course in the candidate’s language. Course Language: English

The information provided is used for the purpose for which it was collected to allow Health & Safety Services to provide goods and services. Health & Safety Services may share the data with agents who act on our behalf in order to provide goods and services but only insofar as is necessary.
